Cath Lab/PTCA Recovery-RN-Contract $52/hr

A contract Cath Lab/PTCA Recovery RN role at AdventHealth Tampa in Tampa, Florida, supporting patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and post-procedure recovery on a full-time day shift. ### What you'll do - Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge, including medications, procedures, disease processes, and discharge instructions - Deliver competent, compassionate care for patients in pain and those requiring oxygen support, maintaining a safe care environment - Administer medications accurately per physician orders and respond to unit and hospital code situations - Assist physicians with bedside procedures and manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges - Verify and sign off physician orders, obtain lab specimens, and evaluate nursing care plans to ensure safe care delivery - Document education, patient responses, and outcomes; initiate referrals to healthcare providers as needed ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting - Associate degree in nursing (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certification (preferred) - Strong abstract reasoning skills for patient assessment, intervention evaluation, and care plan revision ### What's included - Contract rate of $52/hour - Medical, dental, and vision insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, mission-driven health system located at 3100 E.
