About this role
AdventHealth Kissimmee is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for weekend day shifts at its hospital in Kissimmee, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and equipment and selecting technical factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and manipulate radiographic equipment safely, applying ALARA radiation safety principles for both patients and staff
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patients, and following infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and equipment-ready through routine cleaning and safety checks
- Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as departmental needs require
### What we're looking for
- ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R)) credential required
- Florida CRT license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- 1+ year of radiology experience preferred; new graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program are eligible
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
