AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a contract CT Technologist for night shifts at its hospital campus in Tavares, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform CT exams using established protocols with proper patient identification and education before each scan.
- Operate scanners, injectors, monitors, and related imaging equipment safely, adapting protocols across all patient age groups.
- Screen patients for contrast allergies and childbearing status; minimize radiation exposure to patients, families, and staff.
- Position patients and select technical factors to produce images meeting Radiologist quality standards in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient condition throughout the exam, documenting history and ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Maintain a stocked, organized, and clean imaging suite while supporting clerical functions including scheduling and patient records.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree from an AMA-approved or JCERT-accredited school of radiologic technology (required).
- Active RT(R)(ARRT) registration (required).
- RT(CT)(ARRT) computed tomography certification (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Ability to perform scans on patients across the full age spectrum.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
