Registered Nurse OR RN- AdventHealth Carrollwood

AdventHealth Carrollwood is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its OR/surgical services team in Tampa, Florida, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for surgical patients - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining patient safety and infection control protocols - Circulate and/or scrub surgical cases in accordance with AORN standards - Monitor patient responses post-procedure in PACU, adjusting care plans and documenting in the EMR - Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to coordinate safe, effective perioperative care - Provide discharge planning and patient/family education on recovery, self-care, and follow-up needs ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred - BLS/CPR certification (required) - OR circulating and/or scrub skills preferred; previous surgery or PACU experience preferred - CNOR or CPAN certification preferred - Ability to function effectively in a high-stress, physically demanding surgical environment including call hours ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $32.76–$57.47 ($68,141–$119,538 annualized) - $10,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME/career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Carrollwood is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
