AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift) at its South Orlando campus on E. Rollins Street, Orlando, FL.
### What you'll do
- Initiate and maintain respiratory therapies — including mechanical ventilation and life support techniques — for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
- Perform airway management: manual resuscitation, oral/nasal pharyngeal airway insertion, suctioning, and ventilator monitoring across conventional modes
- Obtain, analyze, and report arterial blood gas and co-oximetry findings; perform quality controls as required
- Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies and deliver CPR per American Heart Association protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to interpret assessment data, evaluate therapy efficacy, and recommend treatment adjustments per department protocol
- Document and charge for all procedures accurately and in compliance with hospital policies
### What we're looking for
- Active State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or NBRC RRT credential (required)
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association (required)
- Demonstrated competency in caring for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- 1+ year of critical care experience (preferred)

AdventHealth Orlando is a large faith-based health system serving Central Florida with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit. The South Orlando campus at 601 E. Rollins Street provides comprehensive inpatient services across multiple patient populations, including neonatal and critical care. Night shift hours run 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, three days per week with every-other-weekend rotation.
