About this role
AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist at its hospital campus in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures with proficiency in camera acquisition, computer processing, and radionuclide administration using aseptic technique.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
- Evaluate image quality for technical and diagnostic accuracy, confirming correct patient and exam assignment before releasing images for interpretation.
- Maintain quality control documentation, enter patient radionuclide administration data, and record exam charges in the Nuclear Medicine Information System and Order Communication System.
- Prepare and aseptically administer appropriate radionuclides; explain procedures to patients across all age groups (infant through geriatric).
- Keep imaging rooms stocked, equipment ready, and initiate work order requests for malfunctioning equipment.
### What we're looking for
- Current ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) **or** CNMT certification — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Working knowledge of scintigraphic equipment, acquisition computers, processing stations, and hot lab equipment.
- Ability to operate radiology software platforms including Cerner, Radworks, and PACS.
- Strong multitasking, critical thinking, and independent judgment skills in a high-volume clinical environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field — preferred.

- Pay range: $28.68–$53.35/hour ($59,654–$110,968 annualized at 2,080 hours).
