About this role

AdventHealth East Orlando is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for Surgical Services at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Supervise and support nursing staff within the surgical services department on day-shift operations (Mon–Fri). - Perform venous access procedures within RN licensure scope, maintaining proper technique and patient safety. - Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses. - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage any complications that arise. - Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. - Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to promote understanding and compliance. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience (preferred). - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience (preferred). - CNOR, CMSRN, CCNS, or CRNI certification (preferred). ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr (approximately $70,699–$131,498 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development and continuing education resources. - Mental health and whole-person well-being support programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth East Orlando is a full-service acute care hospital located at 7727 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States.
