About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a contract Med-Surg RN for a day-shift, 36-hour-per-week assignment at their acute care hospital in Parker, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans aligned with interdisciplinary goals. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining adherence to safety protocols. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs. - Collaborate with the care team to facilitate timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer per hospital policy. - Perform safe and accurate handoff communication and documentation at each transition of care. - Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply appropriate PPE, and enforce infection-control and safety regulations. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) preferred. - Strong critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills appropriate to the patient's level of care. ### What's included - Contract rate of $68.60/hour (approximately $142,688 annualized at 36 hrs/week). - Day-shift schedule supporting work-life balance. - Assignment through AdventHealth's direct contract program. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is a full-service acute care hospital located at 9395 Crown Crest Blvd in Parker, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest nonprofit faith-based health systems in the United States.
