About this role

AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Davenport, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and care needs. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Prior ED, ICU, or PCU experience strongly preferred. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $31.53–$50.40 (approximately $65,582–$104,832 annually). - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One and four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a full-service community hospital located in Davenport, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
