About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department Float pool, covering three locations in the Davenport/Winter Haven, Florida area on a 7p–7a night shift rotation.
### What you'll do
- Float across the 4C OSED, Winter Haven OSED, and Heart of Florida ED locations on 12-hour night shifts
- Facilitate timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer in accordance with hospital policy
- Collect comprehensive patient health data and contribute to unit-level process improvement initiatives
- Develop, individualize, and prioritize each patient's plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
- Implement nursing interventions and execute physician orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Apply considerations of safety, effectiveness, and cost in the delivery of nursing services
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant nursing experience
- 2+ years of critical care experience (preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification

- Pay range: $32.16–$56.28/hr (~$66,893–$117,062 annually)
