About this role
An Emergency Department Float RN role at AdventHealth Heart of Florida, based in Davenport, Florida, covering multiple campuses including the 4C OSED, Winter Haven OSED, and Heart of Florida sites.
### What you'll do
- Float across designated ED locations, providing direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings
- Coordinate timely patient placement, admissions, discharges, and transfers per hospital policy
- Collect comprehensive patient health data and contribute to unit-specific process improvement initiatives
- Develop, individualize, and prioritize patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Implement nursing interventions and execute physician orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Apply safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality considerations in all nursing service delivery
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant nursing experience required
- 2+ years of critical care experience preferred
- Active Florida RN license required
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required
- Current ACLS certification required

- Pay range: $32.16–$56.28/hour (~$66,893–$117,062 annually)
