About this role

AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the 11a–11p mid shift at its Davenport, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and clinical needs in a fast-paced ED setting. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, adhering to patient safety protocols. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Provide education and counseling to patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred. - Background in Critical Care or Emergency Department nursing preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$50.40/hr (approx. $65,582–$104,832 annualized). - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME and career development resources; whole-person well-being and mental health support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a faith-based, community-focused hospital located in Davenport, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
