An Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Nights, 7p–7a) role at AdventHealth Heart of Florida in Davenport, FL, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced ED setting. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and care needs. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, following established safety protocols. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - Prior experience in an ED, ICU, or PCU setting. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$50.40/hour ($65,582–$104,832 annualized). - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One; 4 weeks fully paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a faith-based community hospital located in Davenport, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit faith-based health systems in the United States.
