About this role
AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations at its hospital campus in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.
- Screen patients, staff, and equipment for MRI safety compliance, including review of contraindications such as implanted devices, claustrophobia, and contrast allergies.
- Position patients accurately using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques; prepare and administer IV contrast while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems, including patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures.
- Perform and document daily system quality control checks in compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and equipment operationally ready; notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) or ARMRIT certification — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 1+ years of radiology experience and completion of an MRI training program — preferred.
- Basic IV skills and demonstrated MRI safety knowledge.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays.

- Hourly pay range: $28.68 – $53.35 (annualized approximately $59,654 – $110,968 based on hours worked).
