About this role
AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Advanced Respiratory Therapist for the night shift (18:45–07:15) at its hospital in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform airway management including endotracheal intubation, extubation, suctioning, manual resuscitation, and tracheostomy tube changes.
- Initiate, operate, manage, and wean patients on invasive, non-invasive, and advanced mechanical ventilation modes, including High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation.
- Deliver inhaled medications, bronchial hygiene therapy, lung expansion therapy, and manage patients receiving inhaled gases.
- Respond to Code Blue emergencies, providing CPR per American Heart Association guidelines.
- Perform hemodynamic procedures including arterial cannulation, pulmonary artery catheter insertion, ABG puncture, and cardiac output profiling.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess patients, set care goals, and monitor and interpret diagnostic and lab data.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required); Bachelor's preferred.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or NBRC RRT credential (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience.
- Proficiency in airway management, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Experience with pediatric, neonatal, and Emergency Room patient populations preferred.

- Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (approximately $54,246–$100,880 annualized).
