Echocardiography Technologist

AdventHealth Port Charlotte is hiring a full-time Echocardiography Technologist to perform cardiac imaging studies at its hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. ### What you'll do - Set up, adjust, and operate cardiac imaging equipment; manually maneuver transducers to complete echocardiographic exams - Perform routine and complex cardiac studies and assist physicians during imaging procedures - Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations in acquired images - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency - Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures for cardiac imaging - Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sanitized work environment ### What we're looking for - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following credentials (required): RDCS or RVS (ARDMS), or RCS or RVT (CCI) - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred) - At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting (preferred) - Ability to work 0800–1630, five days per week, with on-call commitment ### What's included - Compensation: $28.68–$53.35/hour ($59,654–$110,968 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources - Mental health and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Port Charlotte is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based not-for-profit health system with facilities across the United States.
