Certified Medical Assistant Practice Based

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (Practice-Based) at its Care Pavilion clinic in Land O Lakes, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures, document results, and close care gaps at the time of service - Administer medications, collect labs, and initiate diagnostic testing per provider orders - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and ensure equipment is functioning - Travel as needed to support staffing at additional clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating clinics and hospitals across multiple states.
