About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for its hospital campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans for emergency department patients. - Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with protocols and patient safety standards. - Coordinate multidisciplinary care by collaborating with physicians, social workers, and therapists. - Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on ongoing assessments and outcomes. - Supervise nursing and support staff activities, ensuring adherence to care standards. - Manage discharge planning and coordinate smooth transitions from hospital to home or post-acute settings. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS certification (required); ACLS and CEN certifications (preferred). - Minimum 1 year of 12-lead EKG experience (required); ED experience in a hospital setting (preferred). - Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. - Competency in ED-specific skills as defined by unit orientation pathway. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of the AdventHealth health system, a faith-based not-for-profit network operating across multiple states.
