About this role

AdventHealth Palm Coast is hiring a full-time EMT to support patient transport and emergency care operations at its facility in Palm Coast, Florida. ### What you'll do - Operate emergency vehicles safely across varying weather and emergent conditions in accordance with established safety standards - Monitor patient conditions and communicate findings to registered nurses, paramedics, and receiving staff - Provide BLS-level patient care, including documentation completed within the state-allotted 24-hour timeframe - Assist crew with setup and preparation of ventilators, cardiac monitors, IV lines, and infusion pumps - Assist patients with mobilization, ambulation, and transport between facilities - Maintain unit equipment between transports to ensure constant readiness ### What we're looking for - Current EMT or EMT-Advanced certification (required) - Valid BLS/CPR certification (required) - Valid Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License (required) - CEVO or EVOC certification (required) - 1+ year of emergency vehicle operations experience (preferred) - Graduate of an accredited EMT program; Associate degree in a health-related field preferred ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $20.38–$32.60 (~$42,390–$67,808 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person healing.
