About this role
AdventHealth Orlando is hosting a series of pediatric hiring events in Orlando, Florida for experienced Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists to fill full-time positions across PICU, Peds Float Pool, Peds PCU, and NICU units.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for pediatric patients
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary unit team across 12-hour day or night shifts with weekend rotation
- Document clinical findings and care delivery using Microsoft Windows-based systems
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
- CCNS or Neonatal Medicine certification (preferred)
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and problem-solving skills

### About the practice
AdventHealth for Children at the Walt Disney Pavilion is a Magnet®-recognized pediatric facility on the AdventHealth Orlando campus, serving patients across 30 pediatric sub-specialties with a team of 400+ nurses and physicians. The campus includes a family-centered NICU, an Advanced Center for Pediatric Surgery handling nearly 4,000 cases annually, and one of the only pediatric bone marrow and kidney transplant programs in Central Florida. Hiring events are scheduled May 20, June 11, July 8, and August 5, 2026, from 8:00 am–12:00 pm at 601 E. Rollins St., Orlando, FL 32803.
