AdventHealth is hiring a Non-Certified Endoscopy Technician at its Ambulatory Surgery Center in Palm Coast, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Prepare the endoscopy suite with all anticipated supplies and equipment prior to each procedure
- Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for endoscopy procedures
- Perform high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring of endoscopy instruments
- Demonstrate competence in the accurate handling and care of specimens
- Provide supportive patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician
- Maintain an orderly environment and anticipate physician needs throughout procedures
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical or vocational training preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) credential preferred
- 1+ year of related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of Gastroenterology practice and professional issues
- Ability to function effectively in a physically demanding, high-stress environment including on-call hours
