About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a full-time Medical Technician to perform high-complexity laboratory testing and result reporting at its Parker, Colorado hospital campus. ### What you'll do - Generate and report accurate laboratory results that directly influence patient diagnoses and care decisions - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, documenting all activities and corrective actions - Complete required quality control and maintenance procedures, recognizing and addressing variances - Ensure timely collection, processing, and testing of samples, including communication of critical results - Resolve unusual test orders by coordinating with caregivers, reference labs, and pathology - Participate in onboarding and training of new associates and students ### What we're looking for - Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution (or qualifying equivalency with required semester hours) - Completion of a ABHES- or CAAHEP-accredited clinical laboratory training program, or documented military medical laboratory training - At least 1 year of related laboratory work experience (preferred) - Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and independent judgment to correlate and interpret laboratory data - Proficiency managing laboratory computer systems and result documentation ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $29.57 – $55.01 (annualized $61,506 – $114,421) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support - Mental health and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission rooted in whole-person care.
