About this role
AdventHealth Fish Memorial is hiring a PRN Mammography Technologist to support its breast imaging program at its Orange City, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform 2D and 3D mammography examinations, positioning patients and adjusting technical factors and compression to achieve optimal image quality.
- Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records within the EMR and PACS systems, supporting timely communication of results and next steps with the radiologist and breast imaging team.
- Coordinate patient tracking and follow-up, including recalls, additional imaging, and biopsy scheduling per departmental workflows.
- Conduct daily system quality control checks and ensure exam rooms, equipment, and inventory meet safety and readiness standards.
- Support breast center initiatives including accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography RT(R) and Mammography RT(M) required.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MQSA, FDA, and ACR regulations and ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Proficiency with PACS systems and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (approximately $54,246–$100,880 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- PRN schedule covering day shifts; hours vary between 20–40 per week based on departmental need.
