About this role

A part-time Medical and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist role is open at AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida, supporting the emergency department and rotating departments on an evening shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–9:30 PM). ### What you'll do - Perform a full range of diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures, adapting protocols to each patient's clinical situation. - Confirm patient identity using two identifiers before every exam and document all procedures per departmental policy. - Review images, complete ultrasound worksheets and reports promptly, and re-scan patients when requested. - Communicate abnormal findings to physicians and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team. - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment in compliance with infection control standards. - Mentor less experienced staff and participate in performance improvement initiatives. ### What we're looking for - Active RVT, RT(VS)(ARRT), RVS, or RDMS credential (required). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - 2+ years of experience in vascular sonography (preferred). - Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred). - Proficiency with hospital computer systems for order management and charge capture. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 (annualized $59,654–$110,968 at full-time equivalent). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and mental health support programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and outpatient facilities across multiple states.
