About this role

AdventHealth Denver is hiring a part-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician for the Emergency Department at its 960 E Harvard Ave campus in Denver, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct timely behavioral health assessments in the ED, incorporating DSM diagnostic skills and state-specific regulations - Assess suicide, violence, and elopement risk and develop clinically appropriate disposition recommendations for medical staff - Serve as the primary communication liaison among patients, families, managed care representatives, and behavioral health personnel - Facilitate milieu management within the emergency department and inpatient medical units - Respond to potentially dangerous situations using de-escalation and, when required, higher-level interventions - Provide therapeutic and psychoeducational services to patients, families, and staff to support continuity of care ### What we're looking for - Active Colorado licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist, or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) - Master's degree in a behavioral health field - Minimum 3 years of direct clinical experience in an inpatient, outpatient, emergency, or residential treatment setting - Demonstrated competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and individualized treatment planning - Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, and clinical ethics skills - BLS/CPR certification preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $29.82–$55.47/hr (~$62,026–$115,378 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Denver is a faith-based, mission-driven health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
