About this role

AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time Emergency Department RN for day shifts at its Ocala, Florida hospital. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills. - Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record (EMR). - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience as an RN. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - EKG knowledge consistent with the ED patient population. - Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential preferred. - Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Cerner or EPIC preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
