About this role

An MRI Technologist (PRN) position is open at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a faith-based health system located in Daytona Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders, departmental protocols, and patient safety standards. - Screen patients, staff, and equipment for MRI safety compliance, including contraindication review and required documentation. - Position patients accurately using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to produce diagnostic-quality images. - Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow established safety guidelines. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems. - Conduct daily system quality control checks and ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and equipment-ready. ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT registration in MRI (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) or ARMRIT certification — required. - BLS/CPR certification — required. - 1+ year of radiology experience with completion of an MRI training program — preferred. - Knowledge of MRI procedures, scanners, and safety principles — required. - Basic IV skills and ability to administer contrast agents safely — required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 (approximately $59,654–$110,968 annualized at 2,080 hours). - Flexible PRN scheduling with variable shifts, including potential weekend and holiday availability. - Access to AdventHealth's broader employee support and continuing education resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a full-service acute care hospital situated at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy in Daytona Beach, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based nonprofit health systems in the United States.
