AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a full-time PCU Registered Nurse for day-shift progressive care at its Riverview, Florida hospital. ### What you'll do - Conduct initial patient assessments within expected timeframes, initiate consults, and identify teaching and discharge planning needs - Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and contribute to unit-level process improvement initiatives - Perform hourly rounding using the AIDET technique and incorporate Caring Model behaviors into daily practice - Ensure safe and effective handoff communications and documentation between caregivers - Collaborate across departments to manage patient flow and support timely admission, discharge, and transfer - Maintain clinical competency and compliance with all regulatory standards on the progressive care unit ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) preferred - BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred - Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) credential preferred - 1+ year of acute care experience preferred - EKG interpretation experience preferred; strong critical-thinking and communication skills required ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus (if eligible) - Up to $10,000 relocation assistance (if eligible) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Riverview is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
