About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for its operating room team in Daytona Beach, Florida, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and hand the correct instruments and supplies throughout each procedure. - Assemble all required equipment, supplies, and medications prior to case start. - Monitor aseptic technique for the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks. - Assist the team with safe, efficient OR turnover and direct ancillary personnel during room changeover. - Identify and report environmental or regulatory concerns to management. - Support orientation, training, and education of new surgical team members. ### What we're looking for - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) credential required. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Completion of or current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program. - 1–2 years of experience in a surgical technologist role preferred. - Working knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical/vocational school preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $21.56–$40.09 (approximately $44,845–$83,387 annually). - $15,000 sign-on bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance (eligibility requirements apply). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a full-service acute care hospital located at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy, operating as part of the AdventHealth system, one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
