AdventHealth Manchester is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Orthopedic clinic in Manchester, Kentucky.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation.
- Assist with minor orthopedic procedures and document results accurately at the time of service.
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and maintain efficient office flow.
- Administer medications, collect labs, and support closure of care gaps during office visits.
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet instructions.
- Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment is functioning properly.
### What we're looking for
- Current certification as a CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, CMAC, or NRCMA (required).
- Active BLS/CPR certification (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management.
- Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment.

### About the practice
AdventHealth Manchester is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network serving communities across the United States. The Manchester campus provides orthopedic and multispecialty outpatient care to residents of eastern Kentucky. The clinic operates Monday–Thursday 8a–4:30p and Friday 8a–2p.
