Registered Nurse Cardiovascular ICU RN Training Program

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular ICU Training Program at the Memorial Medical Parkway campus in Daytona Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Assess and interpret diagnostic data — including lab results, non-invasive monitoring, and interdisciplinary notes — to guide nursing diagnoses and interventions - Develop and implement individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-range goals, updating them as patient status evolves - Perform timely, comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors - Apply EKG competency and unit-specific clinical knowledge across all CVICU diagnoses, procedures, medications, and equipment - Communicate effectively during hand-offs and interdisciplinary collaboration, conducting hourly rounding to support patient and family experience - Adhere to ANA Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics; participate in process improvement initiatives and required education ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification - EKG competency (required for this patient population) - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and team-collaboration skills - New graduates welcome — this is a structured CVICU training program ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits, mental health resources, and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a faith-based, mission-driven health system serving the greater Daytona Beach community with a focus on whole-person care.
