About this role

A part-time Registered Nurse role in the Neurology Clinic at AdventHealth, located in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and medical record review - Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team - Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection - Provide patient and family education using teach-back methodology, motivational interviewing, and self-management protocols - Coordinate and facilitate group visits for high-risk patient populations and support care transitions including medication reconciliation - Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with Kansas State Board of Nursing guidelines and hospital policy ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills - Electronic Health Record experience preferred - Specialty nursing knowledge base and at least 1 year of medical office experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $28.81–$46.09/hr ($59,923–$95,867 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care—body, mind, and spirit. The Neurology Clinic at the Shawnee Mission campus provides outpatient neurological care with a structured Monday–Friday day-shift schedule (7:30 am–5:30 pm, alternating three- and two-day weeks).
