About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Endoscopy Certified Surgical Technologist at its Daytona Beach, Florida campus, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
### What you'll do
- Anticipate surgeon needs during endoscopy and surgical procedures, keeping the circulating nurse informed throughout
- Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each procedure
- Monitor aseptic technique across the surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks
- Assist with safe and efficient operating room turnover, directing ancillary personnel as needed
- Supervise and support orientation, training, and education of new surgical team members
- Promote a safe environment and respond appropriately in emergency situations, including proper PPE use and infection control compliance
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST via NBSTSA, State of Florida, or TS-C via NCCT) — required
- Current BLS/CPR certification — required
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's degree or technical/vocational school training — preferred
- Completion of or current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program
- 1+ years of relevant surgical tech experience (2+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and fundamental human anatomy
