AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the 4 South Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Altamonte Springs, Florida, working night shifts.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle dimensions for PCU-level patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication across the care team.
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Current Florida or Multistate Registered Nurse licensure.
- Minimum six (6) months of RN experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.

### About the practice
The 4 South Multisystem PCU is a 36-bed private-room unit with a cardiac focus, caring for patients with diagnoses including CHF, stroke, renal failure, and diabetes at a 4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit operates with dedicated PCT and Nurse Tech support, an on-unit educator, and EPIC with Rover mobile documentation.
