About this role
A Cardiovascular Invasive Lab Specialist at AdventHealth performs diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures at the Riverview, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic and complex cardiovascular procedures including coronary, electrophysiology, peripheral, structural heart, and pediatric interventions
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures, including administering contrast media
- Monitor patient hemodynamics, ECG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry using advanced clinical equipment
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and medications, documenting patient care accurately in the medical record
- Respond to clinical emergencies within scope of practice and fulfill scheduled emergency call responsibilities
- Train and orient new personnel while participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science degree required; Bachelor of Science preferred
- One or more years of relevant healthcare experience required; 2+ years in cardiac cath, EP, neurosciences, critical care, or interventional radiology preferred
- Active BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
- One of the following credentials required: RN, RT(R)(ARRT), RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVIT, Licensed Paramedic, or CST
- Proficiency in ECG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition; knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy
- Knowledge of complex electrophysiology and cardiac intervention procedures; Y90 procedure familiarity preferred
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.55–$58.69 (approximately $65,624–$122,075 annually)
