About this role
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist at its hospital campus in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Operate and position radiographic equipment to complete diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately.
- Deliver direct patient care within the technologist's scope of practice, including patient monitoring, transport, and infection control.
- Maintain clean, stocked, and procedure-ready exam rooms with routine equipment cleaning and safety checks.
- Monitor and report low supply inventory to appropriate personnel.
- Apply knowledge of diagnostic imaging across general radiology, surgical, and trauma settings.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1+ year of radiologic technology experience preferred; new graduates of accredited radiologic technology programs considered.
- Proficiency in patient positioning, equipment operation, and quality control analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary team members.

- Pay range: $21.82–$40.59/hour (approximately $45,386–$84,427 annualized).
