AdventHealth Riverview is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for its Med/Surg unit at their campus in Riverview, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Manage direct reports across recruitment, hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.
- Apply critical thinking and resource management to drive quality outcomes and positive staff relations.
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, empowering team members to raise concerns and contribute meaningfully.
- Promote evidence-based practice and continuous learning across the nursing unit.
- Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to sustain high competency levels.
- Ensure accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience.
- 2+ years in a care team leadership role (team leader, clinical nurse coordinator, or equivalent) preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong organizational, conflict resolution, and multi-tasking skills.

- Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hour (approximately $70,699–$131,498 annually).
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus (if eligible).
