About this role
A Certified Patient Care Technician/CNA (full-time nights) role at AdventHealth in Durand, Wisconsin, supporting inpatient nursing staff in direct bedside patient care.
### What you'll do
- Perform treatments per policy, delivering age-, acuity-, and culture-appropriate patient care under RN direction
- Assist with obtaining nursing histories and report abnormal findings to the registered nurse
- Follow isolation protocols, use appropriate PPE, and enforce unit safety regulations
- Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
- Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies and participate in performance improvement activities
### What we're looking for
- Active CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT certification (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year of PCT or bedside patient care experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
- Experience as a unit secretary or monitor technician also considered
