About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments evaluating patients' physical, mental, and emotional health in the ED setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and evolving patient needs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on patient responses and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to keep all parties informed and involved.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of 12-lead EKG experience required; 1+ year of acute hospital experience preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- APEX Innovations NIHSS certification required.
- Strong abstract reasoning skills to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans accordingly.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
