About this role

AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Med-Surg Orthopedic unit at its Littleton, Colorado hospital, with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 for new hires. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Colorado licensure or eligibility required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills for a fast-paced inpatient environment. - Proficiency in EKG interpretation and abstract clinical reasoning to evaluate and revise care plans. ### What's included - Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for new hires. - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME/career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Littleton is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
