About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg Cardiac unit at the Fletcher Avenue campus in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
- Perform EKG interpretation in accordance with unit-specific advanced life support requirements.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to function as a collaborative team member within a fast-paced cardiac unit.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
