About this role

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a full-time night-shift Emergency Department RN at its Tarpon Springs, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Interpret EKGs and apply advanced cardiac life support skills appropriate to the ED patient population. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. - 1+ year of Emergency Department experience preferred. - EKG knowledge and critical thinking skills applicable to a high-acuity care environment. - Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Cerner or Epic preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off beginning day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support, including mental health programs and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
