AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a full-time night-shift Emergency Department RN at its Tarpon Springs, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Interpret EKGs and apply advanced cardiac life support skills appropriate to the ED patient population.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- 1+ year of Emergency Department experience preferred.
- EKG knowledge and critical thinking skills applicable to a high-acuity care environment.
- Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Cerner or Epic preferred.
