RN Emergency Department PRN Nights

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a PRN Night Shift Emergency Department RN at their Tarpon Springs, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining strict adherence to patient safety protocols. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Perform accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Cerner/EPIC). - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive emergency care. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. - EKG interpretation knowledge appropriate to the emergency patient population. - 1+ year of Emergency Department experience preferred. - Critical thinking, clinical prioritization, and proficiency with EMR systems (Cerner or EPIC preferred). ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $52.24 (annualized equivalent $65,582 – $108,659 based on 2,080 hours). - PRN/per-diem scheduling with night shift availability. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
