About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a part-time Med/Surg Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Parker, Colorado hospital. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for med/surg patients. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and maintain accurate medical record documentation. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance. - Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively across the care team. - Supervise and delegate care tasks to healthcare team members, ensuring quality and efficiency on the unit. - Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions as needed. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes. - English fluency and basic computer proficiency required. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr ($71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. - Pet benefits and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission rooted in whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
