Full-time night-shift RN position at AdventHealth Castle Rock, a faith-based acute care hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective interdisciplinary communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as needed.
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to healthcare team members, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the shift.
### What we're looking for
- Active Colorado RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation (unit-dependent) and abstract clinical reasoning to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills; ability to function effectively as part of a team.
