About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a part-time Ultrasound Technologist at its Denver, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across modalities (abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal, pediatric, breast) per provider orders and departmental protocols.
- Verify patient identity, confirm exam appropriateness, and obtain clinical history prior to each scan.
- Position patients and manipulate transducers and technical factors to acquire optimal images, waveforms, and Doppler data.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS, and complete the sonographer worksheet to support radiologist review and dictation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care and appropriate imaging decisions.
- Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and equipment-ready; sterilize transducers and perform routine safety checks.
### What we're looking for
- Active registry in at least one of: RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB/GYN, RVS, RVT, RT(VS)(ARRT), RMSKS, RDMS-PS, or RT(BS)(ARRT).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical/vocational sonography program preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional anatomy, vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques.
- Proficiency with PACS applications and EMR/radiology software; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- 1+ year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates who meet registry requirements are considered.
