CT Technologist

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a full-time CT Technologist at its La Grange, Illinois campus (AdventHealth La Grange Memorial) to perform high-quality computed tomography imaging across a Day-Weekend shift. ### What you'll do - Perform CT examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, optimizing image quality for accurate diagnosis - Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and maintain ALARA radiation safety principles - Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications - Operate scanners, injectors, and ancillary imaging equipment safely, adapting protocols for patients of all ages - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems - Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure continuity and appropriate imaging ### What we're looking for - ARRT Radiography (RT(R)) certification — required - BLS/CPR certification — required - ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification — preferred - 1+ year of radiology experience with completion of a CT training program — preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree — preferred (high school diploma or equivalent required) - Proficiency with PACS, 3D workstation tools, cardiac/vascular imaging techniques, and IV placement ### What's included - Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 - Pay range $31.03–$57.72/hr ($64,542–$120,058 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is a faith-based health system serving the western suburbs of Chicago, with its La Grange Memorial campus located at 5101 Willow Springs Road, La Grange, IL 60525.
