About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a part-time Ultrasound Technologist at its Denver, Colorado hospital campus. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across modalities including abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal, breast, and pediatric sonography per provider orders and departmental protocols. - Position patients, manipulate transducers, and optimize technical factors to acquire high-quality images, waveforms, and Doppler data. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems, and complete the ultrasound technologist worksheet to support radiologist review and dictation. - Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care. - Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely; perform routine cleaning, safety checks, and transducer sterilization. - Explain procedures to patients of all ages — infant through geriatric — ensuring comfort, cooperation, and privacy throughout each exam. ### What we're looking for - Active ARDMS or ARRT registry in at least one of the following: RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB/GYN, RDMS-PS, RVS, RVT, RT(VS)(ARRT), RMSKS, or RT(BS)(ARRT). - BLS/CPR certification required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical/vocational sonography program preferred. - Working knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques. - Proficiency with PACS applications and EMR/radiology software; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office. - 1+ year of sonography experience preferred; specialized experience in breast, prostate, OR, pediatric, neuro, or vascular sonography a plus. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $32.53 – $60.50 (annualized ~$67,662 – $125,840 based on hours). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based nonprofit health system with hospitals and care sites across the country.
