About this role

AdventHealth East Orlando is hiring a Lead Diagnostic Medical Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for its imaging department in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Acquire and analyze ultrasound images across abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, small parts, and interventional modalities to produce complete, high-quality studies for radiologist interpretation - Perform Venous Ultrasound Doppler and abdominal Doppler exams in accordance with provider orders and established protocols - Orient, train, and coach team members; provide input for performance evaluations and support personnel scheduling to ensure adequate departmental coverage - Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting on ultrasound systems and AGFA PACS - Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness, obtain clinical history, position patients and equipment, and document findings accurately on the ultrasound technologist worksheet - Serve as a resource to department staff and promote service excellence through effective communication and timely, high-quality patient care ### What we're looking for - Active RDMS-AB and RDMS-OB/GYN registries (required) - Active RVT or RVS credential (required) - One additional registry in Breast (BR), Fetal Echocardiography (FE), MSKS, or Pediatric Sonography (PS) - Current BLS/CPR certification - Proficiency in Venous Ultrasound Doppler and AGFA PACS - 3+ years of diagnostic medical sonography experience (preferred) ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 ($59,654–$110,968 annualized) - $7,500 sign-on bonus - $1,500 relocation bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth East Orlando is a full-service hospital on Lake Underhill Road serving the eastern Orlando metro area as part of the AdventHealth system, one of the largest faith-based, not-for-profit health networks in the United States. The imaging department operates Monday through Friday on a day shift schedule (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 06:30–17:00), supporting a high-volume, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
