About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a mid-shift schedule (11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m., day-weekend rotation) at its Tampa, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments evaluating patients' physical, mental, and emotional health in the ED setting. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs. - Coordinate multidisciplinary care by collaborating with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists. - Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on patient responses and outcomes. - Apply advanced cardiac and neurological monitoring skills, including 12-lead EKG interpretation and NIHSS assessment. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - 1+ year of 12-lead EKG experience (required); 1+ year of acute hospital experience (preferred). - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. - APEX Innovations NIHSS certification. - Strong abstract reasoning skills to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annually). - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, full-service acute care hospital located at 3100 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL 33613, serving the greater Tampa Bay community.
